Thursday—the day where sneps dive into the bigger IT adventures. And today? Oh, I had quite the pawful.

The morning kicked off at the office with a cascade of tickets. Some were simple (like “have you tried turning it off and on again?” moments), others a little trickier, but nothing my fluffy engineering skills couldn’t bat into shape. Tail flicks were plentiful as I hopped between support requests and a ticket meeting—yes, the kind where we gather to wrestle the never-ending queue together. At least teamwork makes the printer gremlins less scary.

Then came the main event: “training” on Proxmox. I put quotes around it because, well, it felt more like a guided paw-dabble than a full masterclass. Still, I was intrigued. Selling it to clients? Eh, I’m not convinced—it might not tick all the enterprise boxes. But for a snep’s home lab playground? Now that’s a different story! My whiskers twitched just imagining the possibilities: tinkering with virtual machines, testing out new setups, building a little snep sandbox. Sometimes the most fun tools aren’t the ones that make it into the big production halls, but the ones that spark curiosity after hours.

So, Thursday leaves me reflective: not every IT tool is a perfect fit for work, but some still earn a warm place in a nerdy snow leopard’s heart. And who knows—maybe my weekend will involve snep-lab experiments.

Stay fluffy,
Quilo 🐆❄️
